Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Whitestone different?
Whitestone trains youth to drive structural change through law and policy. Unlike groups centered on protest or awareness, we focus on drafting legislation, combating corruption, and reshaping economic and political systems—from local governments to the United Nations.
Is Whitestone partisan?
No. Whitestone is nonpartisan and nonprofit. We do not endorse political candidates or parties. Our work is rooted in civic values—transparency, access, equity, rule of law—not ideology.
Do you only work in the U.S.?
No. While much of our legislation focuses on U.S. local, state, and federal government, our community and advocacy work is international in scope. We support youth from dozens of countries, and our legal education model includes international law, treaty systems, and global governance reform.
